TAIYUAN, China Aug 30, 2024 /AsiaNet=연합뉴스/-- In recent years, Shanxi has continued to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy in the process of building a comprehensive reform pilot for the energy revolution. In the first half of 2024, the transaction volume of green electricity in Shanxi Province was 7.328 billion kWh. Among them, wind power was 2.148 billion kWh, an increase of 1.508 billion kWh year-on-year; and photovoltaic power reached 5.180 billion kWh, with an increase of 3.509 billion kWh.
Shanxi electric power department pays close attention to the electricity demand of the receiving provinces, and has signed power transmission and reception agreements with provinces and cities which have strong demand for new energy such as Jiangsu and Shanghai, clarifying the scale of new energy power transmission. At the same time, leveraging the country's first "full power optimization, new energy priority" provincial spot market, Shanxi will promote the consumption of new energy and serve the green and low-carbon transformation of energy.
