LINYI, China Jun 4, 2025 /AsiaNet=YONHAP/-- The 2025 Linyi Trade City Quality Products (Uzbekistan) Expo was held in Tashkent, the "Pearl of the Silk Road," on May 11-13. Fifty Linyi enterprises showcased a curated array of premium products, connecting Central Asia with top-tier craftsmanship and innovation.

Inside the exhibition hall, a buzz of inquiries and dynamic business negotiations filled the air. The broad array of cost-effective, high-performance "Made in Linyi" products captivated professional buyers and trade visitors alike.

At Linyi Yaoqi Company's booth, company head Li Zunmei was busy. "Our household goods have been incredibly well-received here," she noted. Meanwhile, Linyi Linfeng Trading Company reached a key procurement agreement with the Uzbek Construction Machinery and Equipment Import-Export Company. Shandong Lantian Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a leading local cable trading firm in Tashkent.

The expo served as a dynamic platform for Linyi businesses, yielding three key outcomes: boosting trade through exhibition, forging connections through networking, and driving production through commerce. Notably, Linyi enterprises made headway in integrating into the Central Asian building materials supply chain, established a strategic partnership with the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and announced plans to launch a year-round exhibition and sales center in Tashkent. Additionally, responding to market demand, Lantian Group will initiate the construction of a local agricultural products processing park to complement its wholesale market operations.

As a key node along the Silk Road, Uzbekistan has seen rapid economic growth and a surge in infrastructure demand in recent years. The industrial complementarities between Linyi and Uzbekistan -- especially in construction materials, machinery, and hardware -- are notable. This year's expo received strong support from the Uzbek government and major business associations, with more than 60 prominent buyers in attendance.

During the event, the Linyi Wholesalers Association officially inaugurated its liaison office in Uzbekistan.
